 Day 1: Arrival in Moshi/Arusha

Welcome to Tanzania! Upon your arrival in Moshi or Arusha, your friendly safari guide will greet you, and you’ll be transferred to your comfortable lodge to relax and rejuvenate after your journey. Take in the sights and sounds of Tanzania, and prepare for the adventure that lies ahead.

 Day 2: Tarangire National Park

Your safari will begin with a pick-up at 8 AM from your hotel in Moshi or Arusha. Head towards Tarangire National Park, known for its diverse landscapes and abundant wildlife. Embark on a game drive through the park, spotting ancient Baobab trees and a variety of animals, including elephants, giraffes, lions, and zebras. Enjoy a picnic lunch during the game drive. After an eventful day, return to your camp or lodge for a delicious dinner and a good night’s sleep.

 Day 3: Tarangire – Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, set out toward the world-famous Serengeti National Park. Travel through the vast plains and immerse yourself in the breathtaking scenery. The Serengeti is renowned for the “Big 5” and offers an incredible population of lions and leopards. Enjoy a picnic lunch during the game drive as you explore the central part of the park. Later, head towards the northern region for more wildlife encounters. After an eventful day, relax and enjoy dinner at your accommodation.

 Day 4: North Serengeti National Park

Spend a full day exploring the northern region of the Serengeti, where the migration might be present from mid-June to September. Witness the dramatic river crossing of the great migration at the Mara River, a spectacle of nature you’ll never forget. Observe the wildebeests’ brave attempts to cross the river while facing the dangers of lurking crocodiles. Marvel at the beauty of the Lobo Valley and its resident big cat game, including lions, leopards, and cheetahs. Enjoy a picnic lunch during your day-long game drive, surrounded by the stunning African wilderness. Return to your accommodation for a delightful dinner and a restful night’s sleep.

 Day 5: North Serengeti to Central Serengeti

Today, you’ll continue your journey from the northern Serengeti toward the central part of the park. Enjoy the en-route game drive as you traverse through different terrains, from hills to plains. The central Serengeti, known as the Seronera area, is one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park. Look out for numerous lion pride and the iconic Serengeti “Kopjes” – massive boulders of granite that provide shelter for various flora and fauna. The Seronera River in this region attracts a wide variety of wildlife, making it an excellent area for game viewing. Enjoy a picnic lunch during the drive, and after an eventful day, return to your accommodation for a scrumptious dinner and a peaceful night’s sleep.

 Day 6: Central Serengeti National Park (North Serengeti to Central Serengeti)

After a hearty breakfast, continue your exploration of the central Serengeti. Enjoy a game drive along the way and spot the resident game in this rich wildlife habitat. The Seronera area is known for its diverse wildlife, including lions, leopards, buffalo, and various antelope species. Witness the interactions and survival of these magnificent animals, providing excellent game viewing opportunities all year round. Enjoy a picnic lunch during the drive and capture more unforgettable moments in the Serengeti. Return to your accommodation for dinner and a peaceful night’s rest.

 Day 7: Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro

Embark on a short game drive in the Serengeti after breakfast. Later, head towards the Ngorongoro Crater rim. Enjoy a game drive in the Serengeti and along the way to the crater. The Ngorongoro Crater is a geological marvel and home to an impressive array of wildlife. Enjoy dinner and relax at your chosen accommodation.

 Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater

Tour Start your day early with a 6:30 AM descent into the Ngorongoro Crater floor. Experience a 5-hour game drive in this unique caldera, spotting various animals, including elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, hippos, cheetahs, and lions. Enjoy a picnic lunch at the Hippo pool before ascending from the crater. Depart for Arusha or Moshi, where you’ll be dropped off by 6 PM, marking the end of your incredible safari adventure.
